FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What creators often ask. First-time questions are in Getting started.
Can I publish without leaderboards or cloud saves?
Yes. Both are optional and can be added any time.
Are leaderboard scores cheat-proof?
No. Games report scores, which suits casual rankings. The platform checks the score range and minimum play time; hide odd scores from the game page.
Can I change a board’s scoring rules?
No. If the gameplay changes, create a new board and disable the old one. Up to 10 boards per game.
Whose are guest scores and saves?
Guests and accounts are kept apart. Guest saves stay on the device; after signing in, the player chooses whether to import them.
I changed the save structure. Now what?
Raise schemaVersion and write migrateState. Keep newer saves you cannot read; never overwrite them with a fresh game.
I pushed to GitHub. Why didn’t the game change?
The platform does not build on push. In Content, use More → New version on that row. A failed build keeps the last working version.
Do the prompts and Skills contain secrets?
No. They hold the game ID and settings only; the game asks the platform for player tokens at run time.
Will copying materials change my code?
No. The materials are for your AI coding tool; copying them changes no repository and triggers no build or publish.
